Puede siyang magmember as Individual Payor – Informal Sector at magbayad ng 1 year para magamit niya. Ang alam ko dapat active ang membership before the laser treatment para maka-avail.

  4. Gud day Sir, I would like to ask about my friend’s problem. She has not yet registered as a Philhealth member and is now working as an OFW. Can she have a representative register her in the Philippines or does she have to do it in person in the country where she now works?

Thanks very much for your help.

Kung hindi, she can register online sa Philhealth.gov.ph to get her Philhealth no. and then ask you to pay for her. Puede ring she authorizes you to register her with Philhealth with a copy of her passport with work visa or foreign ID. Bring also your ID.

  5. Hi Sir, it’s me again. My next question is about my aunt. She is a senior citizen, over 60 years old. Although she was employed before, her employer failed to pay their contribution to Philhealth. As a result, my aunt has less than 120 contributions on her record.

My question is, what can she do so that she gets coverage? She is single, no children, never married, and so cannot be declared a dependent by a close relative as I understand it.

Thanks for your help and guidance.

    Chi

    • Hi Chi, your aunt can continue paying as Individual Payor-Informal Sector (600 pesos per quarter) until she accumulates 120. Upon completing 120, she can apply for Free Lifetime membership.

    • Hi Gie, sa Case rate list, ang coverage for excision of fibroid tumor of uterus ay 18k at 23,300, depende sa specifics, so ask your surgeon kung magkano ang total cost ng surgery including PF if you use Philhealth so you know how much to prepare.

    • Hi Lovejoy, ask your husband to send you a copy of his OEC receipt, kasi andon yong Philhealth validity dates niya. Puedeng scan niya and email, pati na scan of ID or passport niya. Visit the nearest Philhealth branch, and verify your husband’s Philhealth no. Bring your ID and marriage cert.

If you have OEC, scan your OEC and ID and then email to a trusted person, plus an authorization letter so she/he can verify your Philhealth no. and get your MDR at the nearest branch. You can also email Philhealth and ask your Philhealth no.: actioncenter@philhealth.gov.ph
Kung walang OEC, o expired na ang validity dates, authorize this trusted person to register you with Philhealth. Scan your work visa/passport to prove that you’re OFW. Minimum payment is 600 pesos (3 months). Your trusted person should also bring her/his ID.

    • Hi letty, ang tagal na ng year 2011. Puede mong dalhin sa Philhealth and request for reissue of check. Explain to them na nasa abroad ka since 2011. I hope you have a bank account in the Phils para kung mag-abroad ka uli, merong bank account na pagdepositohan sa check while you’re abroad.

Present your ID and your check. Xerox your check for your own copy. Baka lang i-require nila, write a letter of request asking them to reissue your stale check. Write your reason why you were not able to encash it on time.

    • Hi carlo, you can pay Philhealth through Skyfreight there in Jeddah. Or you can ask your family to pay for you, but you need to email a scan of your OEC or any proof of being OFW, and a scan of your ID. Include an authorization letter to process your Philhealth documents so your family can get your MDR and card.

    • Hi neil, kelan ka na-treat sa hospital? within 180 days pa from date of discharge? Yes, your family can file your claim in your behalf. Send your documents through EMS or postal mail. List of required documents. Send your representative your letter of authorization and a copy of your IDs.
Are you an SSS member? Nag-file ka na with SSS? Kung hindi pa, kahit hindi ka ngayon active, basta nakapag-contribute ka dati or noon ng kahit isa lang, you can file for permanent partial disability benefit with SSS. Comment ka lang dito kung SSS member ka at kung employed ka before here in the Phils and if you like to have more info.

  13. Hi !

    Reply
    • Hi Zoe, ang validity ng Philhealth payment receipt ng OFW is from date of payment to 12 months after, so magbayad ka na lang ASAP for one year or 2 years, if you like. Keep your receipt. Photocopy for your family. Yong mga payments for past years, hindi na magagamit.
