How much is the monthly Philhealth contribution?

For OFWs or Individually Paying Members (Voluntary or Self-Employed), the monthly contribution is 100 pesos per month (until June 30, 2012).  Starting July 1, 2012, the monthly contribution is 200 pesos per month. For OFWs, the increase starts on January 1, 2013.

For professionals earning more than 25,000 pesos per month, the monthly contribution is 300 pesos per month.

For employees, the monthly contribution ranges from 100 pesos to 750 pesos, depending on the salary bracket.  The employer pays half of the contribution.

  1. ask ko lng po kung ofw po ba ang husband ng kapatid ko for example po…..pwede po bang gamitin or pwede po bang maging cover ng bayaw ko ang hospital bill ng father namin….in short po father in law po ng bayaw ko ung father namin po…..tnx po more power po

    nag update po ako ng membership ko iaadd ko po sana ung wife ko kso sav po nung philhealth officer d raw po valid dependent ung wife ko kc member dn cia. from october po kc wala n work ung wife ko dhil sa pagbubuntis nya.. panu po ung ggwin pra mging valid dependent ko cia..

    • Hi Richard, register your wife as your dependent in October. Present a letter from your wife asking Philhealth to cancel her membership as she has become unemployed and to register her as your dependent. Bring marriage cert. and her ID. Kung merong document showing her resignation or separation, okay rin na dalhin.

    • Hi glenn, ask him to email you an authorization letter authorizing you to update his Philhealth plus a scan of his IDs and his OEC or any proof of being OFW. Go to Philhealth with these docs and your ID and update your bf’s records. Pay for 1 year (2,400) or 6 months (1200)
