    • Hi maricar, dapat nadeduct yong coverage mo before discharge. Did you file your Philhealth with the hospital? Is this a government hospital? If yes, wait for your benefit payment notice from Philhealth through postal mail, then go to your hospital with the notice, ORs and hospital docs and ask for a refund.

If yes, ang coverage for appendectomy is 24,000 (14400 for hospital costs and 9600 for PF)

    • Hi Jho, yes, basta senior automatic Philhealth lifetime member na. Pero merong mga hospitals/clinics nirerequire nila ang MDR or ID from Philhealth; yong iba naman, require lang nila senior citizen ID. 2 options to get Philhealth ID card: sa Philhealth nearest your residence or sa OSCA in your town/city. Bring senior citizen ID and 1×1 ID photo

Inactive kc ung philhealth nya dahil Hindi nahulugan. need nya ma operahan to remove gallstones

    • Hi Anne, wala siyang payment simula September 2017? Kapag wala, kung safe at puedeng ma-postpone ang operation to March, puedeng magbayad siya ASAP ng Jan to March 2018 para ma-cover siya in March. Before deciding, ask your doctor and the hospital.

      • Hi po,

nakaschedule dn me po for lap chole for gallbladder surgery. Mapa ward or semi and private rooms, fixed po ba ung coverage ba P31,000?

Thank you po.

    Reply
    • Hi Yan, different naman ang RVS and ICD10 codes ng cholelithiasis and cholecystectomy, pero para sure, tanungin mo muna sa hospital na kung saan ka magpapaopera kung covered ang lap chole mo kahit within 90 days of your cholelithiasis treatment. Pero kung more than 90 days na ang lumipas since your cholelithiasis treatment, yes, magagamit mo uli ang Philhealth for your lap chole, basta hindi mo pa naubos yong 45 days na confinement allowance mo from Philhealth.

    Reply
    • Hi Maycee, yes, dahil OFW ka. Pay at Philhealth as OFW. Show any proof that you are OFW para OFW ang category mo, kasi kapag OFW, magagamit mo agad. Merong validity dates. If you pay Aug 15, halimbawa, your validity dates will be Aug 15, 2018 to Aug 18, 2019. Kapag voluntary or self-employed ang category mo, hindi mo pa magagamit. 1 year payment is 2,400 pesos. Ask you surgeon how much will you pay before surgery if you will use Philhealth

    • Hi lyn, yes, separate.

Pay for July to Sep. Puede na ring bayaran Oct to Dec. Ask hospital prior to surgery

  12. Good Day po!

    Reply
Bring your ID and marriage certificate.

  13. good day po, I’m a govt employee at nag undergo po ako ng operation in gallbladder removal last august 9,2018 at 4days po ako s hosp. Mand.

    Reply
    • Hi jhay, mabuti at 39k ang binayaran ng Philhealth for you, kasi 31k lang ang coverage ng usual na cholecystectomy.

    Thank you!

    Reply
Yong Maxicare, if you are registered as your husband’s dependent, ang babayaran usually ng Maxicare is total bill minus 31k.
