    • Hi geraldine, if you need Philhealth immediately, you must pay as OFW because you can use it immediately. If Individual Payor, you need to pay 3 of the 6 months prior to hospitalization.

  3. Hi, I have registered my father with philhealth. He’s 62. What does the member category SPONSORED (INDIGENT) mean? Effectivity period is 10/1/2008-9/30/2009. When can we start payment if quarterly mode of payment. Thank you in advance 🙂

    • Hi jaclyn, do you mean your father was Sponsored in 2008 and 2009? But you want to register now because you can no longer find a sponsor? If he’s now an individual payor, he can pay asap for July Aug Sep (payment deadline is Sep 30), so he can be covered starting Oct. Deadline for 4th quarter is last business day of Dec.

  5. good morning is there limitation for the benefits of an indigent member? Are benefits the same for sponsored member and indigent member? I enrolled my mother with philhealth through online and she’s enrolled as indigent member. thank you 🙂

    • Hi Nel, yes, benefits are the same for all types of members. Your mother is an indigent member if she has a Philhealth card issued by DSWD or your local government or the agency that sponsors indigents in your area. Ask your barangay officers.
