Yong sa private but charity hospital Our Lady of Peace Hospital along Coastal Road in Paranaque, I’ve read na free ang cataract removal doon.

    • Hi Jennylen, sorry I don’t know. Usually doctors are off on Sundays. But try going there. It’s best that you start your consultations there in your first months.

    • Hi jennylyn, sorry I don’t know many hospitals there. Ask and look around for smaller hospitals that offer Philhealth coverage and lower cash out.

    • Hi rachel, sorry I’m not familiar with fabella’s policies. What I know is that many government hospitals require early checkups with them. Go there and try.

    • Hi reymalyn, you should ask the hospital. Usually, if charity patient, you’re asked to buy medicines and supplies outside the hospital. If you like, you can ask Philhealth if you can avail in Oct if you pay for July to Sep today until Sep 30.

  11. Hello. I’m searching for a public hospital or a maternity clinic around Pasay or any other maternity clinic nearby. My mama and I are looking at costs. And we both have PhilHealth. She’s a government employee.

    • Hi Carlota, the 2 accredited clinics in Pasay are: HARVEST MATERNITY LYING‐IN CLINIC 16 APT. KALAYAAN RD., BRGY. 201 PASAY CITY and JMA MATERNITY AND LYING‐IN CLINIC P9 ‐07 6TH COR. 3RD ST., VILLAMOR AIR BASE PASAY CITY. Here’s the list of Philhealth-accredited maternity clinics up to Dec 31, 2014 in other cities. Ask them if they’re accredited for 2015, if you’re giving birth in 2015

  12. Hi I’m due this month. I did not have checkups at a hospital; only at the health center. I wish to give birth at hospital ng Manila, can I give birth there even if I did not have my check ups with them?

    Reply
    • Hi Nila, sorry I’m not sure, but most hospitals and clinics accept only those that had prenatal checkups with them because they want to know the history of their patients.

    • Hi Charles, you have to ask. Philhealth coverage for tonsillectomy is 18k. Ask the hospital if the Philhealth coverage is enough to cover all costs.

    • Hi Vergil, maybe 400 pesos upwards for pay patients. At the charity OPD (Padre Faura gate, you must be there 5am to be among the first in line), it’s free. Maybe the blue card costs 10 to 15 pesos now.

    • Hi eddie, if it’s surgical laparoscopy, surgical or proctopexy for prolapse, coverage is 27,120 ( 15,120 for PF and 12,000 for hospital). If it’s with sigmoid resection, coverage is 30,300 (16,800 for PF and 13,500 for hospital cost)

  17. I just want to ask how much is the estimated payment if i will give birth in hospital ng manila? im 3 months pregnant now.. It is possible to give birth in hospital ng manila even if im residing in taguig city? Thanks..

    Reply
    • Hi Barbie, yes, I think you can give birth there. But what I know is that you need to have your prenatal check-ups there. Coverage for normal delivery is 5k (3k for hospital and 2k for doctor). If CS, it’s 19k (11400 for hospital and 7600 for PF). But since this is a government hospital, prepare money because usually there are no supplies and meds, so they ask you to buy meds/supplies outside. Ask for ORs in your name so you can refund later on.
